THE WORK
This piece represents the awakening spirit of our world, the infinite variety of ways of being, flourishing and experiencing reality, while acknowledging the need to live our lives in harmony with the natural world.
This awakening reminds us of the interdependence of humanity and nature and the life-giving, creative force of that connection.
It urges us to open our eyes and spirits and stand together for our world. The artwork was inspired by a sculpture by Rafa Renor and Quique Almeida, entitled “El Alma del Mundo”.
